Who is this for?​

Users managing reference materials inside knowledge bases.

What can you do?​

  • Bulk upload documents in multiple formats (PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown, HTML).
  • Monitor ingestion states: Uploading → Parsing → Chunking → Embedding → Ready.
  • Preview extracted semantic text chunks and run test queries.

Upload Steps​

  1. Open your target Knowledge Base and select the Documents tab.
  2. Click Upload Documents or drag and drop files into the zone.
  3. The background ingestion pipeline automatically processes the files.
  4. Verify that document status chips turn Ready (Green) before querying.

Notes & Common Errors​

  • Scanned PDF images take longer to process due to OCR extraction steps.
  • Password-protected PDFs must be decrypted prior to upload.
